Back when he was doing a Twitch simulcast of Battlecourt El Barba was adamant about not playing backcourt. His concern revolved around being struck by balls coming off the back & the higher % of "Magic City Bounce" shots backcourt players contend with.
Trying to figure out where to play him in doubles is tough....he doesn't have the power or catching to be a defender. He doesn't have the mobility or shot selection to be a effective striker up front.
Probably best to have him be a Diaz clone; serve the ball run up and play the outside to protect the carom. Based on the doubles partners Douglas has had the strategy has worked before. Replies: There have been no replies.
