"Momma? Mother!" The sounds of Scorpio's daughter woke Kachina from her sleep, and it took her a few minutes to figure out what was going on. She didn't see Scorpio.. Where was she? Oh! She must have left to give birth! Kachina felt weird and giddy at the same, pregnancies back at home were rare now with all the equines getting killed. She remembered one of her friends was pregnant and left the herd to give birth. Kachia often wondered if she was going to get pregnant and start a family of her own. Sokar did! He was crazy for Scorpio, and he would give up anything to be with her. She pondered the thought if she should wake up him and tell him the news, nah. Scorpio was probably still giving birth after all. "She's probably still giving birth to your new sibling or she needs help with something," Kachina whispered to Sag and walked off to find the new mother. She followed the path of hoof prints that Scorpio left."Scorpio! Are you ok?" Kachina yelled as she saw two figures on the ground in the distance.

Kachina finally reached the two and happiness had left her body. There was Scorpio, and the new foal. But she wasn't moving, she was still. "OH MY GODS!" Kachina yelled. Scorpio is dead. Kachina could recognize a dead horse thanks to the lions and the disgruntled horses. "Sokar won't be happy! Her daughter won't be happy! How am I going to tell them?" Kachina asked herself. This reminded her of her mother, she too died after giving birth to twins, and their father didn't take her death well. He got the twins a nurse mare and he just.. disappeared for a long time. Eventually he came back to check on the twins and disappeared again and came back for a few times. Then he disappeared and never came back. Kachina did not want Sokar to go down that path, he had a bright future ahead of him. Kachina walked over to the foal and sniffed it. "Hi! Do you want to meet your daddy"? Kachina asked. She watched as the foal was struggling to get up and it fell. She thought it would be ok to leave the foal for a few mins as she was going to get Sokar and Sag.

She galloped towards the two and nipped Sokar on the head. "WHAT!" Sokar yelled as he woke up. "I got good news and bad news. Your child and sibling has been born!" She said as she looked at Sag. "What's the bad news"? Sokar asked in a stern voice. "Uhh... why don't you all follow me, and I'll show.." Kachina said, and took off in a gallop. "Kachina! Get back here!" Sokar yelled and snorted. Great, what a way to start his morning. Kachina was holding something back, what was it? Did something happen to his newborn foal and his love? He was now curious, what was she up to? "Come on, kid. Let's see what's going on." He said to Sag. The two followed the trail of hoof prints until Sokar saw a body in the distance. It was her body. His eyes widen, and he let out a loud whine. "NO! NO NO!" He yelled and ran towards Scorpio's body. She wasn't moving, she wasn't breathing, she's dead. The mare, he loved, was taken from him. He ignored everyone and laid besides her, comforting her dead body. He didn't even notice that his son was finally standing on his own and not falling. Kachina came over the foal and she started licking him.
