What was going on? The poor newborn colt didn't have a clue. Some dark-colored mare was licking him while another was still lying on the ground. And who was that next to her? He was determined to start walking. He took a few wobbly steps and fell down. He almost had it. The dark mare giggled at him, and he let out a little whine. There was yelling earlier and he couldn't figure out why. A few minutes later, he stood up and did his wobbly walk. He wanted something, and the dark mare had it. He got closer to the mare and his head went under her stomach, looking for milk. The dark mare squealed as she felt something nipping under her. ""I dont have anything for you!" She said and moved away from him. She didn't have milk, but she was his mom! The colt let out another little whine and followed the mare. He wanted the milk and he already was a little frustrated. The mare had a look of panic in her eyes, what was wrong with her? ""Sokar! He needs a nurse mare! He's looking for milk and he thinks I'm his mother"! The mare yelled. What? Nurse mare? She wasn't his mommy? The colt was disappointed and walked away from the mare and towards the still mare where Sokar was. He lowered his head and his muzzle touched his dead mother's stomach. Why wasn't she moving? She was his mother, wasn't she!?
