He lets out a scream, a scream full of anger, as the duo reaches the Falls. He felt like he had a thousand suns burning in him and he felt like destroying everything in sight. But no, he couldn't do that in front of his motherless new son. He had loved her, he wanted her, but it wasn't meant to be. This was like what happened to his mother when he and his sister were born. She was screaming, she had difficulty giving birth to twins, and she was so tired. She closed her eyes and never woke up. His father was unhappy that day and forced to get a nurse mare for the two. Then his father disappeared for a long time, and everyone in the herd thought he was dead, then he came back a few times, then disappeared again and never came back. Sokar did not want this to happen to him. He wanted to be a part of his son's life.
"Come with me…" Sokar said as shook the water off of him. The colt was confused, he sort of knew what was going on, but he didn't know where he was at. "D-daddy, I'm hungry and I want my mommy"! The colt cried. "I am working on it. You are going to get a new mom." Sokar said, and he started making his way to the falls. His ears were pinned back, he was not having a good day already. He hasn't told his son that his mom is dead, she was asleep. A never-ending sleep is what the colt had been told. The colt was excited when his dad said that and was jumping bedsides him. |
