"Someone woke on the wrong side of an ant pile today, aye?" She questioned with a wry chuckle and a noncommittal sort of gesture that was the equivalent of a one-shouldered shrug. "It's yer loss. Not everyone understands how to enjoy life's simple pleasures."

Despite the neutral smile she wore as she delivered the lines, she couldn't help but throw a tiny bit of challenge into her own tone, a kneejerk response to his gruffness. She shook again - mostly to annoy him - and then returned her gaze back to him with a flick of her coppery tail when the dust finished rising from her coat.

"How d'ye ken I was on Atlantis? Ye stalking me or somethin'?" The challenge remained as she spoke again, but the words were less harsh, but taunting, as if by tone alone she was offering a wink and a nudge of encouragement. She wasn't particularly sure how he could possibly know that she'd lived on Atlantis for a time, but there had been a revolving door of Shore occupants that she hadn't bothered getting to know. Atlantis had held other wonders for her, like traipsing through the edges of Paradise where she'd grown up and showing Kerr how to chase crabs up and down the beaches.

Grumpy giants hadn't been high on her priority list then.

"Or was that yer idea of a pickup line?" She teased, not at all dismayed at the thought of being fancied by him. He was absurdly tall, but other than his height, he looked nothing like Ori. There was no dark and handsome here, only tall and golden and dangerous. It was a welcome palette cleanser for her. "Insult a lady first and then try'n make her swoon? It's a new tactic, I'll admit. Dinna ken how well it'll work fer ye." Again that challenging glint in her eye, that cocksure smirk. "But ye can keep tryin'."
