Board sure is quiet. Might be a sign on the State of Super-Modified racing. I thought my July 1 post would bring out some comments one way or the other.
One rumor I picked up in the pit area was that it is hard to invest dollars into Supers when the Longterm future is unclear. Same as to why the low number of 350 supers. More affordable but with things as they are in Oswego where will the run weekly without expensive travel. Most businesses have a short, mid and long-term business plan. What is Oswego Speedways plan to keep the Super-Modifieds alive and well short and long-term? Right now (outside of the effort by Nicotra and a few others) weekly shows have not improved and the stands less than half full. Replies:
