Hooves moved almost on their own. Time had went by with the chirping of birds and the calling of other wildlife, but none of it stopped that mare from prowling forward. Her mind was not set on a destination, but she knew deep in her gut that she didn't entirely want to be alone anymore. There was so much in the world to travel with others, but the herdless mare had not even gained a friend. She wanted someone to just be there silently and it bugged her. She hated others, detested them… but now the herd mentality was trying to suck the lone mindset that she had been sporting for such a long time.
Blinking her blue eyes, Asphara scanned the world around her with her hooves making steady thumping noises upon the ground. The light from the day had her chestnut goat slightly shimmering, the longer strands showing that she was used to a harsher winter than what she was currently faced with. Snorting at her traction upon the ground, she eyeballed the hole before her that had her hoof faintly stepping deeper than it should have pin. Eyeing the open space, she moved her hoof around said object and began to walk forward once more, this time her nostrils catching the scent of a lone stallion.
Moving quietly, the mare came closer and closer to the scent only to find this new found equine to be almost daydreaming. Not understanding how he could be unguarded, she stomped a hoof and nickered faintly, hoping to rouse him from his stupor. The land they lived in had its dangers and it always made her curious how one horse could be so fearful and the next so uncaring. Shaking her long neck with her tail swatting away the flies, Asphara waited for the stallion to look up before she came closer.
