It will be interesting to see how many ISMA/MSS/NESS regulars are motivated by the Challenge Series point fund and payouts to run the Classic. I'm hearing rumors on social media not to expect Lichty, Stevens and Edwards to make the transition to a fixed wing. Nicotra is trying to give away fixed wings to encourage some of the ISMA/MSS/NESS crowd. The ISMA/MSS/NESS cars/drivers that participated in the first fixed-wing Challenge Race were:

I'm also hearing that the starting field will be limited to 30 cars? That may discourage some teams. What happened to the days of starting 34-35 cars?
It also appears that the time trials are being run on Friday night. I thought they said at the beginning of the season that they would be on Sunday. That's a big change for teams and fans having to be there for three days vs. two (and no BB super racing on Saturday).
We are still planning to attend the Sunday event only, provided the weather forecast is excellent.
