GUIDELINES

- the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
- anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
- adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
- the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
- the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
This is my resurrection (Thames and Aura)

Zurok felt a mix of emotions as he led Thames and Aura to the Prairie, only to discover that the old leader had managed to reclaim his position in his absence. The sense of responsibility weighed heavily on him, knowing that he had brought them here under false pretenses, promising stability and safety.

Taking a deep breath, Zurok turned to Thames and Aura, his eyes filled with remorse. "I... I'm so sorry. I didn't expect this to happen. I wanted to offer a better life for both of you, away from the chaos and uncertainty. But it seems that fate had something else in store for us."

He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing. "Despite this setback, I want you both to know that it's still okay to stay here with me. The Prairie may no longer be under my control, but I won't abandon my plans to reclaim it. When the time is right, I will take back what was rightfully ours. I promise you that."

Zurok scanned their expressions, searching for any hint of doubt or fear, fully prepared for them to walk away. "Of course," he added softly, "I understand if you no longer wish to stay. This isn't the future I envisioned for us, and I won't hold it against either of you if you choose to find a different path."

He couldn't help but feel guilty for leading them into uncertain territory, but Zurok knew deep down that he had made the right decision by bringing them here. Regardless of the current circumstances, they needed each other's support, strength, and determination to navigate the challenges they now faced.

"Whatever you decide, Thames, Aura," Zurok said, his voice filled with determination, "just know that we are a team. Together, we can overcome anything. And when the time comes, we'll rise again and create a new era in the Prairie. I won't rest until we do."

With that, Zurok let the weight of his words settle, awaiting their response, fully aware that their choices would shape the future of their journey together.
