Lunette's eyes fluttered open, her senses immediately alert to the presence of a strange horse nearby. Startled, she jerked to her feet, her injured body protesting with searing pain as her wounds cracked open and began to ooze. Grimacing, she pinned her ears back and snapped her teeth in the direction of the intruder.
With a surge of adrenaline, she attempted to lash out and kick at the stallion, only to stumble and lose her balance. Whinnying in frustration, she hastily retreated, keeping her distance from the intimidating stranger. Her back hoof, injured and throbbing, felt heavy as she lifted it, displaying her vulnerability.
Casting a wary eye towards the horse, she mustered her courage through her trembling voice. "What's your name? Are there any two legged creatures here?" she demanded, her voice tinged with both fear and defiance. Despite her instinct to trust no one, she felt a flicker of curiosity amidst the trepidation, cautiously hoping the stranger held some answers to her current predicament.
