What's the town? Blue Springs hangs out on I-70 after drivers go 75-80 across the street and then by the stadium, it drops suddenly to 65 for no particular reason.
I've been pinched there, and also on 29 just north of the Bond bridge. And of coruse little one-cop bergs.they have nothing to do but wait for chases in other jurisdictions to get some action, otherwise, they run blacks out of their towns by stopping them for 'driving while black' or otherwise just ticket their one 30 mph street one after another. Parkville, Weatherby Lake, Lake Houston are three up north. Then there's residents on the one fairly busy street in these bergs complaining to the sheriff to slow people down. And they will. Sheriffs are elected, ya know. But every time they stop a local, it's a hundred dollar fine. I mentioned it to one deputy where they run radar at the bottom of the hill and said that wasn't a good way for the sheriff to get reelected. Suddenly they quit coming around everytime that one guy complained..
Prairie Village used to hassle thru traffic on Mission Road when I was a kid. Everyone knows its not speeding a few over as most traffic does that kills, it's running red lights and stop signs that cause injury collisions, but those violators are harder to catch. Replies:
