I think the Barnes Team needs to figure out why they are burning more fuel. Cost them 2 Classic wins.

Good field of cars. If I remember correctly 40 cars started classic many years ago when cars were abundant. I would have started all 33 based on time trials and forget a second round of trials. The day was long enough in the heat.

I still feel that the good field this year was produced by increasing the purse and the ISMA/MSA and Oswego challenge. I feel that with a little work the weekly purse needs to go up and you will find more cars to participate. That will bring fans back. I hope the track appreciates the work of Nicotra and others/sponsors that are keeping this sport alive.

In addition, uniform rules make numerous other cars that can participate.
