Woody had a rough go at the Classic this year. The best thing he seemed to have going for him was his new fire suit. He drove the Lane 97 at the last two NESS races at Oxford Plains (won the first one). He is a strong supporter of NESS...I don't expect to see him at Evans Mills on September 16. The Colloca 41 doesn't seem to be able to compete with the front runners with or without the top wing. Russ turns 60 in December...it will be interesting to see how much longer he drives, and if so, what.

I attended Sunday's race with my older brother...first Classic he has been to in years. My wife stayed back to assist with grandchildren. If she is interested and the weather looks good, Evans Mills is a possibility.
