Brown eyes never leave the new owner of the Dunes. He watches as the stallion's expression shows some kind of acknowledgment and understanding of his words. The new King also seems to recognize him (as then said) which gives Aries some relief. Since they had seen each other maybe it would help his case. Aries had never dabbled into the stallion's affairs beforehand. He had not even got in the way of Nyimara. Living under that mare's ideals had been difficult, but he kept to himself and his own family.

"Aries is my name. I was born in the neighboring Desert, but found refuege in the Dunes when my parents departed Salem with my little brother." He felt comfortable enough with the stallion to explain some of his family structure and how he was one of the only ones left. He did not, however, mention the real reason he left the Desert. A distant memory of broken dreams that he did not look back on too often. So much more has happened since then to think about.

"I came to the Dunes to live with my half-sister who was born here under Bahadir's rule many many years ago. It is here that her body remains as does my fondest memories of her." if the stallion hadn't cared about his statements before, he prayed he took this one to heart. Hopefully it would aid Aries in his final decision to let him stay.
