The question marks were removed, one by one, every day the list was shown. The whole process took three weeks.

You're dealing with a browser "refresh" issue. Your browser is continually delivering an older version of the image from its stored cache. (They do that to 'speed it up' ... lol).

There are different ways to deal with this (depending on browser), like clearing the cache, but there's not time to teach it here. You should search for articles like "clear cache" or "refresh page" for discussion/instructions pertaining to your particular platform and browser.

For instance, on a PC, "Ctrl" + "F5" should force a refresh of the current page.
