For those who knew Neil Cooper, former Air Movements Officer / MATU in the 80s/90s.
Coops was on holidays in Turkey’s FETHIYE area, where he went missing on 24 May this year. A search was launched and on about 7 July Neighbourhood Disaster Volunteers found his body in the upper area of Butterfly Valley where he had fallen approximately 10 metres.
Recently DNA confirmed Coops identity. Sincere condolences to Coops’s family, colleagues and friends, may he rest in peace.
I will post funeral/memorial service details as soon as available.
