Love calls from the sky...

”Love calls from the sky,
but pain calls from the heart.”

A faint chuckle left that stallion's lips, his black ears gently perked forward. “The pleasure is all mine.” This young mare seemed fresh from the water, but he would not voice his thoughts on the matter. The ocean could be a very dangerous place and he did not wish to see anyone else get sick like he had from traveling in the salty depths. He was lucky to have been kept in a place of sanctuary from Micah even for a little while, but he figured his welcome had left once the other stallion never returned to where they had first met. He now, in his three year old glory, was filling out with age and thankfully he no longer was a gangly foal or yearling. He would grow more in the next few years, but already he was a decently sized horse and it worked in his favor at times.

Listening to her words, Voyager looked out over the meadow himself. The flowers were in full bloom with the late spring and he wondered how many would end up growing here, just because their mothers fell in love with the land like he sensed Tali had. His amber eyes fluttered closed for a moment as he pulled in a breath, her scent still on his nostrils as the meadow flowers managed to make it seem almost sweeter. Voyager was not a normal stallion for he held no need to drag this mare into his possession, but he was thankful that she allowed his dark self to be around her. Kind hearted he might be, but more of a shadow or a ghost was his true personality these days.

“I have traveled my fair share, but nothing stood out quite like this.” Voyager was softly spoken, his words almost a whisper upon the meadows breeze. “I am relatively new to the islands so I have no idea what the rest of this place is like, but I know over the oceans waves is a land where other horses roam and where you could be seen without being heard.” The stallion had not been the best with others over the oceans, but now he could not really complain. He was allowed to roam freely as a whisper in the wind, but no one knew his name currently for it to even be a whisper. “The last place I saw was a valley of grass and flowers. It made this meadow seem tiny in comparison to the horses and foals that roamed that extravagant land.”
