The grass continues to buy her time from facing the rest of the herd. No matter how many times they forgave her (or didn't) she knew someone would eventually break. It was no wonder Ra left her side so easily. He must have foreseen this coming with the move to Tinuvel. He still had no right to upset Devi the way he had. Leaving her so abruptly after the girl enjoyed his company. Ra had been one of her closest fathers up until he left. Then Arenis left, but thankfully their children together were grown by then.

A heavy sigh leaves her lips until small hoof beats catch her attention. Parvati swings up her head and turns to gaze at the handsome colt approaching. He reminds her of Devi when she was young. Except for the bit of white markings on Junco, he was nearly the same shade as Devi had been. Of course Devi had matched her own coat so I guess that means the shade of champagne was a family trait. Parvati did hope he got something special from his father. Maybe he would gain the pure heart Orphiel had. His kind soul and charming smile.

The closer Junco got the more Parvati realizes his coat was perhaps a creamier shade than Devi's had been. It must be from the pale shade of Orphiel's creamy colored body. Parvati studies her son as he joyfully bounces and explains why his scent had a strange smell to it. "I see," She giggles. Little Junco knew exactly how to make her smile. Never a bad day with him around. Whatcha doin? his little voice asks. "Trying to find something tasty to eat, but it looks like someone already picked out the good stuff." She gives him a smile.

"But nevermind that," She says as she steps closer to her growing boy. Parvati playful bumps her muzzle against his shoulder. "What do you want to do next?" Surely he had some ideas to stop her mind from wandering.
