Voyager stood there, his mind going over the need to find a home here. This place was covered thickly from the sun thanks to the trees and his black coat wouldn't bleach as bad nor would he get as hot in the summer. After his call, the stallion could hear hooves behind him and soon enough turned his amber eyes back towards the voice and the hoof beats. The color of the stallion before him was just as colored as he had seen over the islands which he figured was a genetic trait over this point. The starting horses here many eons ago must have come with color in their veins and the willingness to pass on such vibrant tapestries.
Standing before him now was what he would presume to be the leader of this forest. The horse was smaller in stature, but Voyager did not see that as a bad thing. Instead, the mammoth of a horse lowered his head in a bow, the greeting he gave those when he first met them and if they were deserving, until they left his life all together. ”I am sorry for not announcing myself sooner. I could not help but enjoy the tranquility of this forest.” The stallion's reply was gently spoken, but his deep timber rumbled through him nonetheless even though he tried to be as gentle as possible. Voyager had no mean bone in him and so far this horse had not even tried to be rude or disrespectful, which Voyager was thankful for.
“I am looking for a home, sir. My name is Voyager and I am new blood to the islands. Nowhere quite like this has the tree cover that I have been searching for.” Honesty was the best policy was what Voyager thought. If he was honest and kind he would have a place to rest hopefully where he could flourish and be an important part in the future. He just wanted a home and something to protect.
