Again Voyager seemed to shove his hoof in his mouth, but he did not care this time around. He wanted her to know that he meant it. There was no way on God’s green earth that this giant stallion could ever force someone into anything. He could be in the heat of his emotions during the fall and he would be able to pull himself away to save someone from his urges. Voyager held enough self restraint to keep himself in order for the most part. Sometimes he would say the wrong things which everyone would do, but he always regretted it later.
Thankfully Cromer was not turned away by his insistence. Voyager was thankful for that and mellowed out at her words. He let his body rest more calmly as she spoke before bedding down not that far from where he normally slept. If he laid down, his side could rest against her own. Yet, the stallion was not confident enough to lay down with her in case some danger were to come their way. For now, he moved to stand slightly beside her with a thick leg against her side so that he had touch, but not too much to make someone startled. It was a way to ground himself while also offering the tired mare protection while she slept.
“If I need to rest, I will bed down.” He rumbled his reply to her before his head lifted to look out over the territory that he had been given by Bacardi. He will take care of it and make sure that he did not lose it. If Bacardi ever needed anything from him, the stallion would easily hand it over as long as it was within his grasp. Letting out a deep sigh, the large horse shook out his body before settling back into a resting stance while he paid attention to everything around them. Cromer needed to sleep with her long journey thus far and he would be giving that to her to the best of his capabilities.
