When all other lights go out(Canis)

It was a fresh morning, signaling the approaching end of summer. The days were gradually growing shorter and the weather began to adopt a cooler demeanor. Amidst this shifting season, a magnificent bay dun mare named Zymora made a life-altering decision: she was going to leave her herd. With an indescribable longing, she yearned to reunite with her brother, Zurok. It had been quite some time since she last laid eyes on the steadfast black stallion, back when she was just a delicate weanling. Zymora's recollection of those early days was somewhat fuzzy, but she distinctly remembered Zurok whisking her away from their original herd, taking on the role of a nurturing guardian. Yet, somewhere along the line, their paths diverged, and Zymora was inevitably led to her current herd, the very group she was now leaving behind.

Before embarking on her arduous journey, Zymora cast one final glance over her shoulder, bidding farewell to the familiar faces and peaceful existence she had grown accustomed to. With unwavering determination, the velvety bay dun like a lone wanderer traversed numerous miles, eventually arriving at the picturesque shoreline. In the distance, a cluster of islands commanded her attention, and she pondered whether she possessed the strength to swim to the nearest one. Driven by an unyielding spirit, Zymora elegantly delved into the water and propelled herself forward until her hooves finally established contact with the yielding sand.

The landscape that greeted her was unlike anything she had ever known. Towering pine trees, grander than those she had encountered before, stood tall and strong, casting a domineering presence upon the land. Despite her desire to venture further inland, her natural instincts urged her to proceed cautiously, apprehensive of any potential encounters with unknown creatures. Thus, Zymora halted her progress, her ebony mane and tail undulating gracefully in rhythm with the summer breeze. As the sun descended in the sky, leaving behind a radiant purple afterglow, the mare's lustrous golden coat shimmered beneath its ethereal illumination. The only distinct markings adorning her visage were a familiar white snip, and a peculiarly shaped star emblazoned upon her forehead.

Assured of her safety within the proximity of the tranquil shores, Zymora held onto the glimmering hope that her chosen destination might serve as a meeting place for her long-lost sibling, Zurok. A glimmer of excitement danced within her eyes, as she dreamt that her tireless quest would yield fruitful results and not be in vain.
