Best to give me your loyalty

'Cause I'm taking the world you'll see
They'll be calling me royalty

It was her hope that keeping the varnish mare would aid in Devi and Zavi's escape. Parvati assumed Vadim would care about the mare ahe took and come running to exchange Devi for her. If it took long enough she just might have to go to the Lagoon herself to make the trade happen. Though what if they would only trade for one of her family members? Who would she choose and how could she leave the other one behind? She would never forgive herself if she had to leave Devi behind, but Devi would never forgive her if she left little Zavi. She would be forced to save the child first.

Parvati does her normal introductions and falls silent so that the mare can do the same. Though she didn't expect any title from the mare's lips, she did expect a name. "I am no one," her response sends Parvati's lips into a straight line. This mare was either toying with her or truly had no self worrh. One made her feel angry, and the other sad. It was her next words that causes Parvati's eyes to narrow. She was so rude! The Snow Princess stomps one of her front hooves to show her displeasure.

Here she had every intention of allowing this mare to freely wander the Inlet. Make herself at home, and even make friends here! The champagne mare's ears flicker back "This is not some game," she says angrily. Her children's lives would never be considered a game to her. Ever! The varnish mate continues to speak, saying Vadim wouldn't be bothered by her absence. Alas, her plan would not work. Parvati had no time to believe her. She out effort into defeating the Lagoon to bring her here all for the sake of her family.

The mare says Vadim only cares for himself just before she complains about the island she has been brought to. Parvati snorts. "I hope you will come to find I am not your enemy," She begins. No matter what this mare thinks, or how rude she was being, she had to stay focused on the mission. "I will take you to the cover of tbe pines, but only once you've properly answered my questions." Why should she treat this mare with any hospitality when she can't even give her own name? "You are here because my daughter and my granddaughter were taken from me." She grumbles.

"I will get them back so if taking you doesn't stir his interests than I will find another way. But you must stay here until I have my answer." The mare would not be allowed free until she knew Vadim or the Lagoon had no interest in having her back. "What is it about the Lagoon that is alluring to you anyway?" She just assumes the mare was there by choice. Her answer interests the Princess, but there was only one answer she would understand. Parvati wonders if she had started out in the Lagoon if she could have rounded up more stallions to join her in the Inlet. Maybe she would have been able to get Frey to come. Perhaps even someone more worth her time.

"And if Vadim has no care for you personally why stay?" No mare deserves to be treated as simple property. They all deserved love. To be treated as their own Queens.
