I can feel myself moving
closer to a dream thats waiting for me


Embarrassment takes its hold on her as soon as she realizes her cover is blown. The large stallion whirls around to face her with a face of shock. Her own shock covers her features as the color drains from her face. It almost didn't matter that she was now soaked to the bone with water. She just stares with wide eyes until his gaze leaves.

A small sigh of relief parts her lips as the stallion stares up at the sky. She had felt the weight of his gaze as if his own body had been weighing her down. His gaze had peirced her own as if he could read her mind. If only for a second. Did he know that she has been watching him? A smile returns to his face right before he sends a whicker her way. Her brown head tilts to the side in question. Was he asking her to play?

She has played numerious times with her father. Especially with her cousin Dagda growing up, but never with a stranger. For a moment Úlla just stares as the stallion begins to splash in the puddle again. It did look like fun...it just felt so strange. If he was a member of her close knit family she wouldn't think twice about joining in. Still, she began to giggle again as she watched the mud stain his tall under belly. She wondered what she might look like if she jumped in. What would mother say?

His eyes return to her as she stiffens. That is, until he gives his playful bow. Úlla finally decides to just go for it. The seal brown mare leaps forward into a nearby puddle. She laughs as the muddy water splashes up her legs and turns the lighter brown of her coat as dark as the rest. Somehow the fun of getting muddy caused her to forget how nervous she was around the stallion. The smaller mare began to dance around him laughing. She even jumps in the puddle in front of him to cause water to splash against his legs.
