Large hooves moved with stealth. Eyes of a bright red like hue narrowed in on another horse standing out in the inlet eating. Nahawi, the lagoon stallion, had been in the inlet searching for something and his eyes were now locked upon what he was in a way searching for. Strength was before him on the side of a horse that stood there thinking. This horse was small, but there was an air about him that had Nahawi licking his lips as he swished his tail against his sides. He was curious of this painted creature, but that curiosity would not stop him from what he was planning.
Stopping all forward movement, the stallion perked his ears as he hid in a shaded area of the Inlet. He had dealt with a cougar and now he was stalking another horse like it was his prey. Nahawi needed numbers in the Lagoon if he were to take the position, but raiding would not get him votes. However, raiding would give him someone to watch that would be bound to him in the Lagoon if he were to lose these elections. Vadim was gone and the one horse he was certainly stuck with sent a shiver down his spine. Nahawi did not like Garmr one bit and before him was a small stallion that honestly could probably teach Nahawi a few things even if he was going to be drug over to a new land.
Finally done with hiding and scoping his pretty little image before him, Nahawi moved. Surging from the shadows, the red dun laced his ears back against his head as a mouth full of blunt teeth opened. His body arched forward as he moved to get at this painted horse. Nahawi knew his job was to take this creature to the lagoon, so the sixteen hand beast did his best as he snaked his head and arched at this stallion. With ears pinned and flaming eyes set on this stallion, Nahawi did what instinct said to do and tried to drive this horse away from the Inlet and into his home.
