I was doing my recruit training at RAAF Base Wagga and in DEC 60 we were doing a night NAVEX on the Base and we stopped for a Smoko break. During the break, conversations naturally took place and I remember one of the guys, who happened to be the eldest in the group said, “Two things you should never discuss, are politics and religion”. The current events happening in Israel ad and the Gaza Strip involve just this…politics and religion. I believe that we all need to consider tế the threat now being imposed by the Muslims, not just in Israel, but in most western countries. It is now happening in Australia and our democracy is coming under attack. We indeed need to be vigilant…time to take a stance on this Muslim matter. We really need to support Israel in their endeavours too. Replies:
