Balls can be tailored and manufactured to any weight and speed. You don't want it to fly as far, make it lighter, you don't want it to be fast subtract rubber add yarn. Being handmade, you can make a ball conducive to proper speed on any length court. Phillipines balls were ALWAYS infinitely faster and warmer than Spanish for instance. Balls that needed to go to ft pierce were bought by orlando and the play at both was sub optimized by this over time.
