Scripps insiders tell FTVLive that CEO Adam Symson held another employee town hall.
A source tells FTVLive that the Scripps boss told the staff that "all the feedback from the anchorless format has been " good" and they are happy with it.”
A Scripps employee who works at a station that has made the changeover to anchorless newscasts, says of Symson's comments, "That's a massive lie. Our GM is so overwhelmed with emails he can't reply to them all. Everyone I see asks me " where is everyone."
As to the reports that Allen Media wants to buy the Scripps station, a source says that Symson said that the company is not looking to exit the TV business, but he did not pour cold water on the Allen rumors either.
