I’ve been wandering around with an old Beatles song in my head, and I couldn’t understand why.
The song is “In My Life,” sung by John Lennon on “Rubber Soul.” It’s an OK song, but not one of my favorites, so I’ve been wondering, “Why the hell is THAT song bouncing around in my head?”
Only thing I could figure was a few days later, when my TV was on. A few grandmas were getting ready for Christmas, I guess. They were sledding, per the ad, and the music from “In My Life” was playing (without singing) in the background.
Now, it’s bouncing around, in my head.
I’ll be glad when it goes away…
