i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors

I need to get a better idea of who's here. please reply to this post if your character has taken up residence in the prairie!

if you'd like your character to be a guardian, feel free to specify. I'm still working on getting html together, but I'm going to use this activity check just to have the stallions/mares/foals thrown up on the board while I tinker with the html. (for anyone who doesn't know, a guardian is anyone who would like to take a protective role in the prairie; guardians are expected to patrol the borders, particularly the high trafficked areas. they can invite others to live in the prairie. they are expected to be on alert to protect against raids, or to assist any escapees attempting to find peace in the prairie)

also, there is a third position still open. zevulun would ideally give it to one of his children, but he would also offer it to those who have been residents in the prairie for a long time and who he can trust. feel free to dm me on discord @ashomundo if you might have a character interested in taking up the third leadership role - claimed!
