The travels brought me here…

Tasking time to wander was beginning to make Voyager uneasy to say the least. With Cromer back home in foal and winter steadily taking full control of his home, the black stallion was unsure if his leaving was the best thing to do. He wanted to make a family, but he was not entirely ready to leave the beautiful mare back home by herself. Cromer was a strong mare, but this deep urge in his blood had the black stallion’s fur prickling almost. He never would have guessed the feelings he held in his heart to be so potent when it came to the one he cared for most.

Leaving though, Voyager had softly spoken to himself and looked at Cromer from a distance, his body aching with the need to add to his small yet happy family. Nothing might come from this excursion, but that was okay. He would do his best to take everything in stride then return to Cromer before more than a weeks time passed by. After he returned from this trip, Voyager would not be leaving again. He would be there for the strong mare he loved and the foal that would come in the spring. He was super excited, but fear also shot through his blood.

Rising from the ocean and onto the crossing, the black stallion should out his fur and headed towards the falls. He missed the thunderous sound of water falling and a slow and easy smile colored his lips once the sound began to grace his ears. Excitement had him slowly trotting faster to the water until the scent of others coursed through his nostrils. Peering around him, the stallion soon enough set his eyes upon a lightly colored mare and another stallion. He was unsure if these two were together, but he was not going to stand around like a creep when he came to enjoy the peacefulness of the falls.

Steadily going, Voyager stopped by the duo, but left a decent enough space that he was not in their bubble what so ever. He did not speak, but he gave a faint smile to the other horses before he lifted his head and just enjoyed the falls. It was obvious he was not listening in on the conversation that they could be having considering the distance and the way he slowly creeped closer and closer to the splashing waters. Voyager in all his might, was like a child in a candy store when it came to fresh water. It eased the itch upon his skin from the oceans salt and just let him be at peace… which he did wonder if these two other horses might feel the same about?
