Meadow

Large ears slowly swivel upon a red dun’s head. Eyes of blue glitter as winter grasps onto his long fur, tugging at the knotted strands almost like a brush. This winter day had the red dun named Nahawi walking through the crossing with his tail snapping at his hocks every so often. Garmr and the rest of the lagoon had the large stallion growing agitated on a daily basis and he honestly questioned himself now why he even ran for the boss position? He did what the trinkets and offspring deserved, but he was paying the price. Mentally, he was growing exhausted.


Shaking his head, Nahawi sighed as he felt clumps of snow begin to fall off of his hooves. He had been growing stilts he would swear walking on the white powder, but it wasn't something he could really step away from this season. He was lucky to live in the marshy lagoon as he avoided the snow shoes, but his hooves had grown some abscesses that he was currently limping from. Pain in a hind hoof was almost too much with everything else he was struggling with.


Nahawi was about to take another step when a voice he knew within his gut had him stopping all forward movement and pinning his ears tight against his mane. Blue eyes narrowed into slits as he shot a look to that of Psychedelic. The old lagoon boss. The one responsible for losing Vadim and leaving the brothers without leadership. Narrowing his eyes into almost slits, Nahawi gave a deep snort and bared his blunt teeth at the black beast. “No one has the she you are looking for old man.” Usually Nahawi was a good stallion, but currently he despised only one horse and that horse was the one right in front of him. “You should continue your travels away from anyone and anything Psychadelic.” The name came out as a his as Nahawi set his snake like look upon that of a useless, no good, beast.
