Things had changed since he gained the boss position. He had wanted to speak with Isengrim and yet his brother of the lagoon seemed to have other matters to attend to. After leaving Atlantis after the storm he found himself and three of his brothers in, Nahawi went home and prowled around the lagoon for a while. There was no stragglers that he noticed and with no trinkets or offspring, he found himself lonely. Those captives did not deserve to be trapped, but he did miss having more horses at home.

Stepping away from the lagoon a while later, Nahawi headed to the meadow. His long furred frame seemed to be ghostly with the white snow mixing into his red fur. His soft blue eyes blinked ever so slowly as gentle flakes landed upon his lashes. Whiskers upon his nose were faintly frosty, his breath melting the snow and the cold air turning it to ice flakes. His hooves left large patches in the snow, the white powder sticking to itself and making him snow shoes. He was coated with winter and he loves it.

Moving on a trail that was built by deer and other animals, Nahawi let his head raise as he looked to the full moon. It was a glorious winter wonderland and he couldn't help but smile as Christmas needed. He was a holiday sort, always feeling laughter during the season and the urge to give to those he cared about. Sadly, on these islands though, he only had one friend. Voyager was the only horse he considered a friend and he didn't think the forest giant would love him setting a few gifts in his territory. Chuckling to himself though and shoving the thought away, Nahawi went to the center of the meadow and stopped.

Standing there under the moonlight, Nahawi smiled and closed his eyes as his body became fully bathed in the silver light. His tail flicked against his hocks one last time before he stood still. The only thing showing he was alive was the vapor coming from his nostrils and the rise and fall of his sides showing that he was breathing.
