Milford made the best effort at keeping full year, salaries staff traditional alive, and it could not do it.
Now the short Dania tournament style is fun, but it's just a sliver of the heydey of traditional which is long gone. No casino owner is going to sponsor a Milford style season and lose millions doing so.
Faster pace, hd video, great angles = attract those under 70. As in the up and coming adult generations. The type who while Milford floundered spent their evenings at nearby casinos. I liked Milford, but realized its time had passed well before it closed.
