Silence took hold of the air as Nahawi set his gentle gaze upon that of Zavi. The young filly was excited to be back home and it gave the red dun enough of a happy feeling to let a soft smile grace his features. Nahawi was thankful he was able to bring one of the stolen back to her home, but he knew he had failed with the rest. They all had left without a word and he had wished to at least give them a proper goodbye.


Hearing hooves hitting the ground pulled Nahawi from his thoughts. Blue eyes faintly narrowed as he watched that of Parvati. He had been hormone filled last time he had seen her and now he had to be back in her presence to deliver her granddaughter. Shaking out his body, Nahawi did his best to hide his unease as the older mare spoke to him. He knew Voyager would stay silent, but in this moment he honestly wished that the black stallion was the one in charge and not him.


“I am here to bring back Zavi.” The stallions tone was rough and final, but he felt as if he was losing just a sliver of happiness with Zavi leaving. “She is here to stay Parvati. I've released all the trinkets and offspring with gaining the position of Boss.” After those words, the red dun looked at Voyager for a moment. “If I would have failed, I would have taken Zavi to the forest and hid her there until I would of been able to get her to you.” Nahawi never wanted to harm another again, but he would if he had to. “Zavi is safe here and if any of the lagoon come for her, I'll be on their tail and I guarantee you'll be facing them from the front.”


Change… Nahawi wanted change. His words conveyed that as he set his pale gaze upon Parvati. The lagoon was a sick and twisted place and he was done with it. If he were to die this year as boss, he would at least die knowing he tried his best to change that sick place for the better.
