Farewell Kansas City
If you asked me 10 years ago how I felt about Kansas City I would have said, “never been, sounds lame.” But after living here for over five years, I don’t want to leave. Unfortunately, my time here is coming to an end. This has been one of the hardest decisions of my career as I have truly enjoyed forecasting the weather in one of the most difficult places in the country. From intense summer heat to extreme cold, severe thunderstorms including multiple tornado events, and snow! It’s all been so challenging yet rewarding.
I don’t know what’s next for me, but I will let you all know when that journey begins! My last day on-air at KCTV5 will be two weeks from today, Christmas Eve. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and those who continue to follow me through this crazy, but exciting career. Replies:
