For what it’s worth, I still love you. (Vadim)

She had traveled with Eira, but now Snapdragon was old enough to leave honestly on her own. Her light colored body rested on the shore that spoke of the edge of the Prairie. She knew that Eira would be safe here, but she herself did not wish to stay. Her heart was set on following her father and she had not been old enough before to find him. Now, her just turned two self seemed to find that the idea of traveling would be fun. She could meet others, but it was all covered by the depression that lined her insides and begged for her to go looking for Gael and see how the old stallion was now after he had just vanished.

Shaking her head, Snap knew she would not find Gael. Instead, her young heart would remain in tatters as she turned away from this place altogether and flung herself into the ocean. Its cold depths wished to eat her and drag her under the waves, but she pushed on without the need for help. She was used to the marsh of the Lagoon, the ocean that took her away from said home and to the Badlands and how it had brought her here with Eira. She was used to it, but that did not mean she liked it.

Washing ashore in Tinuvel, she blinked her vibrant eyes and sniffed the air. Spring was strong and she knew she would have to be careful, but the young mare did not care. Her tail flicked against the top of her hocks before she slowly moved through the island and headed deeper into it. She had heard the mares name, but Snapdragon did not know where she lived other than here on this island. Looking about herself, she noticed and enjoyed that this island was colder. She would not have to worry about being turned into a mummy thanks to the head back in the Badlands.

Trudging through vegetation, Snapdragon finally stopped when her fathers scent flooded her nostrils. Tilting her head, the young horse finally let out a faint call to said stallion. She did not know if he would hear or, but she knew someone would. Shaking out her damp coat, Snapdragon stood there in the tree’s with a quietness that was not usually upon someone so young.
