Snapdragon eyed this stallion curiously. She was unsure what to really think of this creature before her, but she let her head lower to nibble on some more grass. His presence wasn't untolerable so she would handle it with care and not send him away for now. However once he spoke after her name filled the air her ears pinned tight to her head and she narrowed her gaze at him. She had not been a part of that jailbreak and had never wanted to leave the Lagoon. Snapdragon herself had been practically stolen by her mother and father and carried off to the Badlands where her father once again was taken by another mare.


“I was not a part of that jailbreak Sir Kyôn.” Snapdragon’s voice was snipped short and laced with thinly veiled anger. Snapdragon had wanted to stay with Nahawi and where she remembered Gael the best, but now she was here roaming the lands in a mission for Nahawi instead of living there where she could hide in the mud and mire. The lagoon had showed her how to walk through the mushiest and nastiest of lands but now she was learning how to handle normal ground. It was different here than even in the sands of Salem and she was not entirely enjoying it.


Turning her gaze towards the direction she would be heading soon, Snapdragon flicked her tail against her hocks with a faint sigh. “My mother and father did an escape themselves to Salem and I stayed there before I was only enough to leave entirely on my own.” Snapdragon was a nomad currently, but that was okay. She would find her place in the near future and was excited to go see her grandfather for the first time even if it was for Nahawi’s sake.
