I will find you, If it takes a thousand years

Kachina had a desire that had been burning in her lately, to find Sokar. It was growing so strong that she and her daughter, Chu'si left Salem. Her daughter was a bit upset about leaving. She did not want to take the long trip to the Crossing Isle. Kachina assured her that it would be okay. She knew what it was like, taking a long trip to somewhere unknown. Kachina was acutely glad they left Salem. Being there with Scorpio's remains made her uncomfortable, and she kept having flashbacks when she was back at Punt.

"Shimaa, what are we looking for"? Chu'si asked as she approached Kachina. "Your eamm. He and your cousin left me before you were born." Kachina replied. "Why"? Chu'si tilted her head. Kachina had to think for a moment. Her daughter was too young to understand death. "To find...somebody." Her daughter looked at her, confused. "What does eamm look like?" Kachina faintly smiled, Sokar could easily stand out.. She had been told that he looked liked their deceased mother. "He's black as night. Has more white markings than me. You'll see when we find him." Kachina giggled. She remembered when mares caught sight of him. They would freak out over him and rave about how handsome he is. Only four of them courted him, but they disappeared or got killed. Scoripio's death seemed to affect Sokar.

"Seker! Seker"! Kachina yelled out as she walked. Chills went down her throat. She hadn't said that variation of his name in a long time. She could smell horses in the distance, but none were him. Kachina had a plan set. Go North of the Crossing and then start going to the other islands. She did not care, she wasn't going to let anybody or anything stop her.Maybe.. if she could ask one of the horses nearby. Kachina snorted and decided to head for the nearest horse, with Chu'si behind her. She lacked the misgivings that Sokar had towards strangers. The mare made a few nickers as she got closer to the equine.
