What you suggest is not complicated, it’s just not necessary. Dania & Magic City / Battle Court are two different things. Dania is proudly celebrating 75 years as we prepare for our 7th year. Benny has done another amazing job and assembled a young, talented roster. Additionally, from the first to last player they are good guys and they do honor to the sport.
You’ve seen most of our players who would qualify for such a tournament already playing most or part of their careers at Dania. So I think what you & others are asking is how would Douglas & Benny match up against “Team X of Dania” on Dania’s court. As a 45+ year fan / aficionado of the sport I’d be interested in seeing that to. As a manager with a 4 month season planned & heavily marketed beginning in 10 or so days there is no chance that I would risk either of them or anyone we might send being injured. I can’t speak for Dania but a few years ago when Inaki (then Goitia) broke two bones in his hand in the USNJAC final, no one was happy. We can take a scratch in our Quinielas but not in Battle Court.
It simply falls short on the “risk-reward” scale.
