VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

Slowly drawing in a bite of stemmy grass, Snapdragon tilted her ears to the surf and soon enough raised her head to look out at its expanse. She had heard hooves moving through the water, the gentle splish splash of those movements gathering her attention. Allowing her soft gaze to track the beach, she soon enough caught sight of a stallion and fully shifted to face him. He was a pretty coloration of black and white, almost yin and yang in her eyes. It had her head tilting as she scanned his frame, but no words left her lips before she heard his own words crawl up the beach.


Pulling in his scent, Snapdragon slowly stepped over the ocean berm that was the beach and let her hooves sink faintly into the grainy salt crusted sand. Her feathered legs were shaking sand with each step, but she did not allow herself to worry about those little granulites of dirt as she kept her gaze firmly upon this horse that seemed to be lost. Normally she would second guess a newcomer's intentions, but today she was feeling oddly generous.


When she was close enough to stand before him, the pale sun kissed mare dipped her head and let her hooves stop all forward movement. “You have stepped into my home.” Her gentle voice spoke out, her tone seeming to be sweet in nature and smooth on her tongue. She held no masculine air about her and it added to the fact she was a mare, through and through. “My name is Snapdragon. Welcome to Paradise.” Her eyes twinkled faintly, her tail slowly flicking against her hocks. Currently they were beside the Priestess’s home and it made the mare curious. “Have you come searching for sanctuary?” He might not know where he was, but that did not stop her from asking.
