GUIDELINES
common sense, really
i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors
Karma’s calling and I hope I can run.(Open)

Lifting her head to the sky, Eira watched as clouds slowly rolled over her home with a booming rumble following their wake. Her emerald gaze faintly closed as her white lashes fluttered against her cheek, taking in the scents of a storm on the banks of her home and creeping through with a faintly chilly wind that coursed through her fur. The cream based mare turned her head with the scent coating her lungs and turned to look at the child beside her. The palomino pintaloosa foal was soft in color like her father, but Eira did not have the strength after labor to go find Vadim and show him the child. Eira did not hate Vadim, but she was not willing to be stuck in a place once again just for him.

Perking her softly rimmed ears, Eira lowered her head and went to lip at Void’s short fuzzy mane when another round of thunder rocked the ground and a gorgeous view of lightning flashed above them. The mare's lips had just barely brushed the spookish filly’s mane when the child scrambled and hid under her mother, causing a grunt to leave Eira’s lips and her ears to pin to her head as she glared at the child. Eira would never understand how she birthed such a scaredy cat, but here she was.

Raising her head once again, Eira let the coming rain work on covering her body with a smile as its cold grip slowly streamed down her body and landed on the ground with gentle plips and plops. The rain was heavy, but Eira was in heaven under its hungry rage. Her foal on the other hand was petrified of the water and after a while, Eira watched Void bolt into the tree cover and hid a laugh behind a soft cough. Her tail lashed at her hocks, but the mother watched her child bed down in their little home and soon enough she let her head raise to the sky and sent out a call for anyone to come join her and enjoy the view she had of the storm clad sky.
