Pacific’s Uprising
mare | 16.0hhs | blue roan overo | of the bay

Standing in silence, a young blue roan overo mare blinked her dark mahogany colored eyes. A nose of black and pink slowly flared out at the nostrils, dragging in many scents before her head turned away from the directions her mothers smell came from and headed a different way. Pacific’s Uprising was mad at her mother and father. She was terrified of them more like, but she did her best to just live with it and do as she needed to nurse and then vanish with some of the other Bay residents.

Slowly moving her hooves, Uprising headed to where she could hear some of her half siblings. She hadn't met many of them yet but as her eyes landed upon a skeleton colored brother, her head tilted faintly. He was older than her for sure, but something about him had the filly moving closer and soon enough stopping at his side. Her eyes flicked to the other horses here that were playing, but she did not engage with them.

After that fateful day on the beach watching her parents fight, Uprising had not spoken since. Her voice was locked away in her chest and it made her wonder why? She hadn't heard her parents speak much either and she wondered if that was normal? Shaking her head to rid herself of the thoughts, the slightly smaller filly watched her other siblings. It was quiet here and her faintly malnourished self enjoyed it. Rim had tried to feed her more, but Uprising was never really hungry.
