Laying there on her back, the brown and white filly eyed the taller stallion before her. She was unsure of his age, but he was bigger than her and she knew he was older. Amarinora was also confused as to why her father had not come out of the tree line now that she was on her back, but she did not let that drive her farther into fear than what she already felt. Her blue eyes took him in as she continued to lay there, far to dazed to really put a thought through her brain.

Shaking her head slowly, the filly let her body relax as her front hooves just rested on her chest, far to comfortable now that he was not mean in the grasses she laid on. They had cushioned her fall and made a little bed under her and with the comfort calling to her, she just laid there and listened to him speak. “I… I do not meet others much.” She finally rumbled. Her father had hidden her well from the other horses of the Lagoon and she did not know why, but knew better than to question the Lagoon Boss. He was keeping her safe he had once said, but she wanted to know from what.

Humming out a breath, she gave him a smile finally. “My name is Amarinora, daughter of Nahawi.” She liked to say her fathers name. It had a faint dip in how you had to pronounce it and she had practiced for weeks so that she could say it correctly. Amarinora’s own name was odd with how you had to pronounce it. Am-are-in-or-ah… Like… who decided to make a name that was five different small words all jumbled together!?
