GUIDELINES
common sense, really
i. the Prairie stands as a symbol of peace and prosperity among the islands
ii. anyone is welcome to live here so long as they do not bring harm to the Prairie or any of it's residents
iii. adventure and exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged! residents are asked to use their better judgement and not travel to places that could bring them harm
iv. the head of the prairie has final say in all prairie matters. the secondary and third positions are not able to be challenged for and are selected by the head
v. the guardians take on a more active role in the prairie; they must protect the inhabitants of the prairie and go on patrols of the prairie borderlines and shore. they can welcome strangers to the prairie and invite anyone to live here, though they must inform one of the leaders of any newcomers or visitors

Micah

▻ none (x none) ◅

The remnants of his nerves from the recent tornado are frayed enough that when he sees Lior responding to a call that had come from the direction of the border. He’d rarely taken note of Zevulun’s entire cosmos of children - but when there were so many raids and bad blood bickerings abroad - he thought perhaps his Lord would appreciate a bit of extra heed to his progeny.

His dark brown coat washes clean in the same river he had watched Lior bathe in from afar - only he does not linger as the young stallion had. He moves on at a pace that might have overtaken the lad if he’d been of a mind about it. He does not immediately approach as Lior stops, either. It would be foolish to give up his position in the event of an ambush - so he allows the greeting to first come from someone younger, smaller, than himself. She is, after all, a new mother.

To his credit, and Micah’s relief, he was relatively polite - even a bit plying - and Micah only holds on long enough to see that look of puckishness many young stallions have at his age. That is when he approaches. "Greetings, too, miss. I am Micah, a Guardian of the Prairie. I heard your call and saw our young Lior here come to make your acquaintance." he tips his head respectfully, although his eyes are not closed and his ears are actively seeking others that might have followed her.
