VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

Letting her body fall into a relaxed stance once Rutger was truly gone, Snapdragon put her full focus on roux. It had been irritating to have her uncle behaving as he had been behind her and now she had nothing to hide from him. “He is not someone that I wish to be around a whole bunch.” Snapdragon spoke silently, her head shaking as she listened to Roux a bit easier. This mare might not really know what to do, but already she was making Snapdragon like her. She was to the point and direct, no sugar coating from her lips. Snapdragon needed someone like that in her life and it would help her grow past this odd stage of unknowing if she had someone willing to tell her she was being stupid.


“I do not want anything from you Roux. You are a herd member, not a dog to be pulled around how I see fit.” Snapdragon would never in a million years force her members to do the dirty work. Snapdragon would be knee deep in everything that was coming to her territory before anyone else could get a whiff of it. They deserved safety and it would take time in order to make that happen, but she would do her best to be sure no one was just forced into anything.


Tilting her head, Snapdragon looked behind her to where her uncle had vanished and gave a snort. “He is a lost puppy unsure of what he wants, but there is something off about him. I was trying to make him learn that a sub-lead needs to be willing to talk to herd members, but instead he tucked his tail and ran.” Snapdragon would make that part happen though. Her territory might be split up between three herds, but she wanted everyone to work like a well oil machine. In her mind, her crown was only as strong as her sword and shield and right now…. her sword was as useless as a banny rooster wanting to go ham on a person's ankle.
