Meadow

The young mare’s reaction is one of curious surprise, and Azrael is pleased to see the pleasant expression on her face. She shares that it is also her first time away from Paradise, and Azrael’s expression brightens to one of camaraderie, as though they share an inside joke or an embarrassing secret.

The sunlit-snow stallion is delighted when the sunset mare does not appear to tire of him, even after rambling on. Azrael is an odd mix of shy and outgoing; he is no stranger to nerves, especially around mares, but his response to that fluttering anxiety is to overcompensate with chatter. He tries not to be too annoying, and so far no one has had a problem with it, but he is distinctly aware of the quirk and is prone to a vicious cycle of talking too much > anxiety > talking too much because of the anxiety. Luckily, it is not in his person to be frustrated or angry about anything at all, so he is gracefully good-natured about it.

“I’m Osiris,” she says, before pressing forward – closer than Azrael would have been bold enough to hope – and teasing his own name from him. "Now that you mention it," he says, "a guessing game sounds fun. You can have… three guesses," he says, taking a pause as though to consider how many guesses with which he was willing to barter. "If you can’t guess it, I’ll tell you, but you’ll owe me." He grins, daring to take his own half-step toward her, but he isn’t quite so brave as to touch her just yet. "Let’s say… you have to catch me a firefly, if you can’t guess my name."

He feels very clever for this proposal, because it means she might agree to play a game with him, and he might get to spend a moonlit adventure with her, chasing fireflies through the Meadow.
