LET THEM HATE AS LONG AS THEY FEAR.

Standing in the silence of a summer morning was a large grey shire. With a white face that tapered down to pink nostrils and a body built for strength, the large mare eyed the distance. She now lived int he sanctuary, an odd place for her to really be. She had once lead the land, but now she was a humble servant to the one in charge and in many ways… Siren was thankful to be just a pawn in a game she no longer had to pick.


Huffing a breath, the large mare flicked her tail before turning and heading towards the beach. Her long strides were slow, but she still ate at the ground with a pace that many others would have to work harder at keeping up. Siren’s Symphony liked her solitude this morning, knowing Aeos was somewhere doing his own thing. Her red eyes blazed knowing she would do what it took to protect him, but needed her own space. She was once a horse that had wanted to be feared, but now she took to the life of raising a foal, even a yearling, and found her heart easing against the pain in her heart from losing her two other foals.


Humming a faint tune, Siren moved through the foliage before she stopped at the sand. Her bright eyes closed as she lifted her head to take in the warm sun. The temperate jungle ways of this home were perfect for her body and instead of having to grow a thick coat for a few months, she only grew one thick enough to keep her slightly warm. There was no need to really be overkill on her fur and with it being summer, faint dapples could be seen in her lead and soft coat.


Siren slowly opened her eyes after a while, her red gaze lost in thought as she stared at the ocean. She wanted to go for a swim, but at the moment she just stood like a tranquil statue and listened to the ocean waves over the beach. She would love to go deeper, but something in her had her stopping to just take in the lovely picture before her.
