The giant was stupid with sleep, and yet still he managed to heft his big good-for-nothing mouth out of her reach within moments. A frustrated huff escaped her and she raised her head as well, although there was no denying that they were of laughably different sizes.

Whether it was lucky for him or not that his annoyingly cute muzzle bore no traces of the moon flower she'd come in search of was debatable. On one hand, this meant she had no real reason to be mad at this stranger. On the other? That meant her anger had no reasonable outlet, which meant it opted for the next one, no matter how unreasonable... Which was him.

"Obviously idiotidiota!" She half reared in place so their faces could bob more closely together, her own still filled with frustration and loss. Though Catalina would never admit it, a small part of her girlish heart had foolishly hoped that she might find some trace of her father here among the moon flowers. It had been years since she had travelled with him and her heart ached for the familiar chaos of travelling to and fro with a man who followed his whims. It had been a chaotic childhood, but one she'd revered and she missed the companionship as if someone had cut away one of her limbs. She'd lost some of that whimsy, and the act of travelling across the islands had shifted from enchanting to dull, from exciting to lonely.

Still, she was not done with the brute before her and so as her pale hooves found purchase in the loamy soil once more, she tossed her head in emphasis and kept going. "Why else do you think I would come here? ¡¿Por qué?!Why?!." Her tail - still sea-damp - cracked sharply in the night air. "It certainly wasn't for you, Gigantor! But someone did eat them," she continued on, as if sarcastically explaining the situation to a child, enunciating each and every word clearly, "because they are gone. So, you're going to tell me who did it, so I can babysit their trip and then kick their ass in the morning for being so stupid."
