VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

Standing in the Meadow, Snapdragon listened after her call with her ears slowly rotating. The blue of her gaze was intent on searching the distance, but she spoke no more words as her body stood still in one spot. She would give it a bit of time before she left, her call having to have reached someone's ears. She was unsure if her mom would show, but she was not disappointed at the next turn of events. They had her whickering to the pale form of her mother and moving quickly to eat up the distance and meet her mom in the middle.


Giving a low whicker, Snapdragon reaches out for her mother and softly leans into her touch, the mare's scent easing all of Snapdragon’s worries. It was her voice that had the pale mare stepping back, her eyes bright as she listened. Her long tail flicked against her hocks as the grasses around them shivered and shook against one another, a light breeze drawing the strands together. It was as if this day was meant for meeting and she was so thankful her mom had been here that a faint tear trailed down her cheek.


“Me?” She asked softly, her voice a bit rough from choked back sobs. Her ears were perked, but the excitement was strong in her eyes as she shook her head. “I took over paradise Mama. I am the Crown and rule that space not far from Grandpa.” Snapdragon was thankful to have Tyr so close, but he would never come to just how excited she was to be with Mercury. “I came searching for you, wondering if you would like to come to my home?” Snapdragon wanted her there, to live with her. They could be a happy family without her sire if Mercury wished it. “I had found father, but never spoke to him so I do not know if he wishes to come with me, but I want you Mama. I want you to come home with me.”
