Re(7): What is the Rarest Shot in Jai-Alai? Posted on February 12, 2024 at 08:11:26 AM by William
Irazabal, the frontcourt at Miami, when he was outside on the wood near the front wall and if he caught the ball right side, he would come over the top and throw the ball hitting the front wall then the floor and then the ball would chic chac on the side wall and roll out. I dont know if that shot has a name but it was definitely unreturnable.
The home run rebote cut off before the bounce has to be a rarity, Ive only seen it only a few times in 40 plus years with the last one being Sierra I at Orlando.
Ive seen plenty of ace serves but only a couple times with the player who was about to be aced turning around and playing a rebote off the back wall after the serve has gone over his head.
